About the Role

A supportive primary school in Greenwich is seeking a dedicated One-to-One Teaching Assistant to join their team from 6th October. The successful candidate will provide personalised support for a pupil with additional learning needs, ensuring they can access the curriculum and make progress both academically and socially.

This is an excellent opportunity for a caring and proactive One-to-One Teaching Assistant who is passionate about inclusion and committed to helping children thrive in a mainstream classroom.

Key Responsibilities

Provide tailored one-to-one support for a pupil with additional learning needs.
Adapt activities and resources to meet the child's individual learning targets.
Encourage independence, confidence, and positive behaviour.
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement strategies.
Support the child's wellbeing and social development.

Candidate Requirements

Previous experience as a One-to-One Teaching Assistant or similar role.
Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to supporting learning.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
