Do you want to make a difference in vulnerable children's lives? Do you want a career where you are making a difference? If so, Aspire People are working with a primary school in Gorton, Manchester who are looking for Youth Workers to help support students with their learning and interactions. The position is to start in April 2025 till July 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for those with experience of working in youth work, or in roles supporting children.
The role will require successful candidates to assist teachers in delivering work with the students. You may hold mentoring sessions with students 1:1 as well as in groups. You will be working under the general supervision and guidance of a teacher, many of the activities will be sports based, so an interest in sports is desired.
You will have:
- Experience in youth work or working with children (paid or voluntary)
- A passion for helping children develop healthy relationships and build life skills
