We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Mechatronics Maintenance Technician to deliver high-quality training and mentorship for individuals entering industries such as aerospace, automotive, aviation, defence, logistics, and more. This exciting opportunity involves equipping apprentices with the essential skills to maintain, test, and repair complex automated equipment that blends mechanical, electrical, electronic, fluid power, and control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver training on the maintenance, fault finding, and modification of complex automated equipment.
  • Teach a range of disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, electronic, fluid power, and control systems.
  • Prepare apprentices for a career in industries requiring high standards of safety, quality, and compliance.
  • Foster professional development in apprentices to meet the demands of the aerospace, automotive, defence, and manufacturing sectors.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience as a multi-skilled technician in mechatronics or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of automated equipment with integrated systems and interfaces.
  • Experience working with mechanical, electrical, electronic, and fluid power systems.
  • Ability to train and mentor apprentices in a structured, supportive environment.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team, ensuring compliance with company and legal requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Teaching or Assessing qualification is desirable.
  • Degree or Masters in a related subject.
  • Maths and English Grade GCSE (or equivalent).
