Vanta Staffing High Wycombe are looking for an experienced Goods in Operative to start immediately in one of our client's warehouse. This role will be a temp to permanent role. Must have a UK driving licence and have experience using Microsoft work programs. The role requires you to be physically fit to be able to complete general lifting. Monday - Friday 7.30am - 4.30pm (early finish Fridays!) GBP26,000 - GBP27,000 per annum.
The duties of the Goods in Operative are:
- Reporting to the Warehouse and Logistics Manager with warehouse duties.
- Take delivery of materials into warehouse and store, checking the quantity and quality.
- Using counterbalance forklift, loading and unloading lorries.
- Quality control.
- Stock taking.
- Adhering to health and safety policies.
- Report to Procurement Manager.
The requirements of the Goods in Operative are:
- UK driving licence.
- Counter balance fork lift licence.
- Experience of Goods inwards.
- Knowledge of health and safety.
- Must have a good work ethic.
- A team player.
There will be in-house Health and Safety training which must be completed.
