This role is a senior role – candidate is expected to have worked in and understand the live-event industry, with a keen understanding of its practices and idiosyncrasies.

Reporting directly to the Creative Director, you will design spaces and experiences for a wide range of clients across multiple verticals – everything from automotive to gaming to tech and more.

Produce quality mockup renders from 3D scenes. Create 2D drawings for floorplans and elevations.

Skills

  • Minimum of 3-5 Years’+ Experience as a designer for live events with top brands.
  • Cinema 4D and Vectorworks/AutoCAD experience required.
  • Broad portfolio of design work for live event installations – ranging from small scale deployments to £1m+.
  • Proven track record of summoning ideas – not just design features but also experiences.
  • The ideal candidate will be a positive and self-starting individual who can take direction but also help train and inspire junior designers.

Key Tasks

  • Participate in the ideation stage to conceive memorable experiences and moments – maintaining a practical approach for those to be built and deployed in the real world.
  • Bring creative flair and fresh ideas to give clients a concept they can get excited about.
  • Design and model bespoke elements in 3D.
  • Work with client-supplied artwork as well as self-generate placeholder artwork where necessary.
  • Work with speed and efficiency, and in an organised manner to generate beautiful and engaging mockup renders to tight timeframes.
  • Generate floorplans and elevations to scale for build and print partners.
  • Generate final deliverable assets for digital deployments – taking concept mockups to finished results.
  • Be brand-aware.
  • Be budget-aware.
  • Work within the existing team to collaborate, share assets and maintain working practices.
  • Conduct research where necessary to understand clients, their brands/products, and what’s hot in the live event space.
  • Attend on-site recces to understand, measure, and record venues.
  • Attend on-site deployments to oversee partners for accurate and smooth delivery of designs.

  • University Degree, design-related qualifications from reputable source.
