Are you a Womenswear Designer who has been designing across sports and lifestyle? I am partnering with Juicy Couture who are looking to strengthen its Design team in their Central London offices. You will have a good understanding of the market and be able to confidently translate trends into commercial product that fits in with the brands aesthetic and customer base. They are looking for someone who wants to learn and progress as they are a fast-paced business.

Junior Womenswear Designer - The Role

  • Design and drive the SMU side of the brand business.
  • Work closely with our key fashion accounts to drive multi product categories and sales.
  • Identify key areas of growth for the relevant products offered to each retailer, bringing both consumer relevant ideas and concepts to the table.
  • Support middle-level and senior members of staff to manage a range of products while keeping alongside the critical path.
  • Create, maintain, and update product tech packs and BOMs, alongside attending weekly fit sessions.
  • Work independently on some lower complexity prints and graphics, SMU specific.
  • Have an awareness of competitor’s product, participating in comp shops and inspiration shopping.
  • Use relevant sales data and insights to design commercially relevant, fashion forward SMU ranges.

Junior Womenswear Designer - The Person

  • Currently working as Junior Designer in the fashion industry.
  • Used to working under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, able to manage own workload and be a team player.
  • Highly competent IT skills - Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Confident communicator and highly organised.
  • Worked across multi product categories before 2+ Years.
  • Experience in working with sustainable products would be beneficial.
