Sales Manager required for account management and new sales of facilities services products, covering the North of UK. c£35K base - OTE £60K. Work from home with some travel to customers.

Our client is a leading pest control product company with a strong commitment to innovation, excellence, and sustainable growth. The Area Sales Manager will achieve monthly sales targets by maintaining and developing relationships with a customer base (200+ established accounts) in the North of England and develop new business with prospects and lapsed accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Account Management
  • Maintain regular contact with customers on the buying platform.
  • Sell the full range of group products to your customers.
  • Ensure customers remain adequately stocked with the group range, introducing new products where possible.
  • Provide up to date product information, including product changes.
  • Develop an understanding of each customer, the market they sell into and the way they promote the products.
  • Ensure the company is the sole supplier by selling the features, advantages and benefits of products.
  • Develop an understanding and keep up to date with competitors products.

New Business Development

  • Convert new business and expand offering to the current customer base.
  • Aim to visit and convert as many prospects as possible.

Candidate Requirements

  • We are seeking a highly motivated individual who will use their initiative and strive to over-deliver as well as:
  • A good level of education and qualifications.
  • Previous sales experience ideally selling products into the service industry.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to negotiate on all levels.
  • A good level of communication, conversational and persuasive skills required.
  • Self-motivated, hunter mentality with a sense of urgency.
  • Be based in the North of England.
