Our Wealth and Personal Banking business supports millions of individuals, families, business owners, investors and entrepreneurs worldwide. We provide products and services that include current accounts, credit cards, personal loans and mortgages, as well as savings, investments, insurance and wealth management. We also have specialised relationship managers who support customers with bespoke requirements, including high net worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients.

The Area Premier Financial Consultant is responsible for overseeing the performance and development of HSBC's remote Premier Financial Consultants. This role plays a crucial part in driving remote wealth management strategies, ensuring exceptional client service, and achieving business growth targets. The Area Premier Financial Consultants work closely with the Regulated Area Wealth Managers and other stakeholders to maintain high standards of service and compliance. The role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and extensive knowledge of Premier Management products and services and remote client engagement.

In this role you will:

  • Drive & oversee the recruitment, training, and performance of Premier Financial Consultants.
  • Coach, motivate and lead your team of Premier Financial Consultants to ensure strong, lasting relationships with clients and continuous growth of your team’s client portfolio.
  • Collaborate with various business areas to ensure integrated service deliveries and first-class premier proposition.
  • Promote a work environment that values high standards and accountability by actively encouraging personal development and continuous improvement among team members.
  • Act as an escalation point for significant client issues and ensure timely resolution.

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • Remote line management experience specifically within a call centre environment.
  • Strong understanding and experience of relationship management.
  • Strong understanding of wealth management products, services, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and senior leadership skills.
  • QCF Level 4 Financial Planning desirable – although not essential.

This role will be based in Reading.
