About Our Client

A specialist Global Equity Institutional Asset Management business with $16 billion of assets under management. The firm implements a single concentrated large capitalisation active global public equity investment strategy across all of its global client base.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsibility of the group purchase ledger, including accurately posting supplier invoices and employee expenses, obtaining the required approval and dealing with supplier queries;
  • Setting up and ensuring timely weekly payments to employees and suppliers, in multi currencies;
  • Responsibility of the sales ledger, including accurately posting fee invoices to UK clients, client queries and posting sales receipts;
  • Preparation of monthly intercompany invoices involving regular communication with our Guernsey finance team;
  • Preparation of monthly bank reconciliations for several multi-currency bank accounts;
  • Assisting with the month end process, preparing journals and balance sheet reconciliations;
  • Assisting with the preparation of monthly payroll and pension contributions;
  • Assisting with the collation of benefit information for HMRC reporting, including P11D's and PSA returns;
  • Assisting in the preparation of quarterly VAT returns for both UK firms within the VAT group;
  • Other ad hoc duties including involvement in the year-end audit and other projects as and when they arise.

The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years accounting experience / AAT qualified.
  • Proven track record in bookkeeping / month end process.
  • Excellent diligence / attention to detail.
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation communication skills.
  • Ability to work to multiple tight deadlines within a small team.
