A leading global real estate investment firm is seeking a highly motivated Portfolio Management Analyst to join their dynamic team. Specializing in the Living sector, the company operates across multiple international markets, managing a diverse portfolio in some of the world’s top cities.

About the Role

As a Portfolio / Asset Management Analyst, you will play a key role in financial analysis, portfolio management, and strategic decision-making. Working closely with senior team members, you will contribute to budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis, and investment strategy development. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance portfolio efficiency and support asset transactions, valuations, and refinancing activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial models.
  • Analyse revenue, operational costs, and capital expenditures.
  • Support buy/sell/hold strategy development and portfolio performance assessments.
  • Monitor market trends, competition, and performance impacts.
  • Prepare performance reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Asset & Transaction Support

  • Collaborate with operations, finance, and real estate teams to optimize asset performance.
  • Track asset values and support financial analysis for acquisitions and refinancing.
  • Conduct site visits and contribute to valuations and investment decision-making.

Strategic & Operational Responsibilities

  • Support property reviews and investor performance evaluations.
  • Work with senior stakeholders to address asset performance variances.
  • Provide data insights and recommendations to aid strategic decision-making.

About You

  • 4+ years of professional experience in asset management, real estate, or financial analysis.
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience in return appraisals and financial performance evaluation.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities.
  • Proficiency in report preparation and presenting financial insights.
  • Ability to work independently while thriving in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Degree-level education or equivalent experience.
  • Background in student accommodation, hospitality, or residential sectors.
  • Exposure to structuring and executing high-value deals.
