Neruda Capital DMCC is looking for a skilled and driven Gasoline Trader to join our expanding team. This role provides an opportunity to capitalise on our cutting-edge trading infrastructure and market expertise to generate strong returns in the gasoline derivatives space. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of market fundamentals, risk management, and a proven track record in paper trading.

Location: London or Dubai

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and optimise a P&L within the gasoline derivatives market, identifying and executing trading opportunities.
  • Develop and implement trading strategies informed by fundamental analysis and market insights.
  • Build and maintain robust trading models to enhance execution and profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with risk management protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the broader trading team to share market intelligence, trading ideas, and risk positioning.
  • Monitor market trends, pricing structures, and geopolitical developments to capitalise on trading opportunities.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with brokers, exchanges, and counterparties to enhance market access.
  • Uphold regulatory compliance and adherence to internal trading policies.
Requirements
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in gasoline derivatives paper trading.
  • Proven P&L track record with strong and consistent historical performance.
  • Expertise in gasoline markets, including futures, swaps, and spreads.
  • Strong understanding of fundamental market drivers and macroeconomic influences.
  • Proficiency in risk management and hedging techniques for futures and options.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to trading opportunities.
  • Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced trading environment.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with strong organisational and analytical skills.
  • Effective communicator, able to collaborate within a high-performing team.
  • Technical proficiency: Advanced Excel skills; knowledge of SQL, Python, statistical modelling, or other programming languages is advantageous.
