The Centura Group is the holding company for several businesses supplying specialist construction services to the UK and international markets. Centura provides business support including Management, SHEQ, Finance, HR, and Training to the individual businesses.

We are now recruiting for an Employee Training Scheduler to focus on providing foundational support in the coordination and delivery of training programmes. In addition to this, as our Employee Training Scheduler you will be responsible for:

  • Collating and inputting training information for pre-employment and training evaluations.
  • Booking employees on training courses and qualification based on the training matrix, client, legal and other requirements.
  • Acting on training requirements as instructed by Group H&S Advisors, Senior Management, Contracts Management and Heads of Department.
  • Confirming course bookings and notifying candidates, line managers, heads of department and senior managers.
  • Ensuring joining instructions have been received, issued and recorded.
  • Inputting, monitoring and maintaining different formats of training records on different platforms.
  • Sourcing, setting up and maintaining training supplier's database.
  • Issuing training certificates and competence cards to employees.

In order to be successful in this role you must have / be:

  • Fully conversant in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Training and competencies in the Construction industry is a plus, but this is not essential.
  • A high attention to detail alongside a proactive approach to carrying out tasks.
  • Some experience, or a desire to begin a career within a training environment.
  • GCSE / NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification to facilitate access to a relevant NVQ course.
