Interim Student Personal Development Manager
£19.75 per hour

College is seeking an experienced Student Personal Development Manager to support on an interim basis at their campus in Cambridge and Huntingdon. This is an interim role to start ASAP for a 4-6 month period and will pay £19.75 per hour PAYE.
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Reporting to the Director of Student Services, the Student Personal Development Manager will be responsible for planning, managing and implementing the college's centrally devised personal development programme for students, adult learners and apprentices, including materials for tutors and teachers, student voice programmes, enrichment, and events linked to national and local priorities.
The Student Personal Development Manager will also manage the teams associated with student personal development, pastoral support, enrichment and learning resources providing a consistent excellent service to all stakeholders, leading to successful student progression and post-college destinations.
The ideal Student Personal Development Manager will have the following knowledge, skills and experience:
- Proven experience in managing personal development programmes within an educational or young people service setting
- Successfully leading and managing teams
- Developing and delivering training programmes
- Coordinating student enrichment activities and student voice initiatives
- Working with young people to motivate and inspire them
- A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field
- Qualified to minimum Level 2 standard in English and Maths
- A relevant Level 3 qualification or substantial supervisory experience
