As a Senior Support Worker, you'll play a key role in maintaining the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents. You'll support the clinical team, lead daily care delivery, and ensure high-quality standards across the home.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and emotional support with dignity and respect
- Oversee care plans and contribute to ongoing assessments
- Administer medication per policy and training
- Lead by example and supervise junior staff
- Support residents during activities, outings, and community integration
- Ensure accurate records (e.g. hygiene, fluids, charts) are maintained
- Participate in service user reviews, meetings, and training
- Uphold safeguarding, health & safety, and infection control standards
- Carry out domestic tasks such as laundry and room tidiness as required
What You'll Need
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or Equivalent
- Minimum 2 years experience in adult social care
- Compassionate and proactive approach to care
- Confidence with record keeping and basic IT
- Knowledge of safeguarding and person-centred care
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and occasional nights
