Are you a HR Systems Administrator with Cascade exposure or perhaps a HR Administrator with a desire to further utilise your knowledge of Cascade HRIS and specialise in HRIS area? If so, we may just have the perfect role for you! We are currently recruiting for a HR Systems Administrator to join a collaborative and friendly HR team within a Publishing company. You will be responsible for managing the HRIS Cascade and will need extensive prior knowledge of this system, either as a system administrator or as a HR Admin.

In this role, you will be responsible for large bulk data changes such as annual pay review/ bonus scheme data (there is a HR Admin who manages data entry and daily data changes in the system). You will be responsible for interfacing with the business when there are new system and reporting requirements. You will support with all system related queries, which means being comfortable working with employees when questions arise!

A large and interesting part of this role will be creating the automations within the system as well as setting all permissions for each action. This role would be a great fit if you have previously been the “Super-user” for Cascade HRIS and would like to continue to be the GO-To person within a company for all HR System and reporting related duties!

Duties include:

  • Maintain HR System Functionality: Ensure proper functioning of the HR system, including data entry, screens, and workflow processes. Handle dependencies to ensure seamless operations.
  • Update Employee Data in Cascade: Keep employee and role data updated in Cascade, covering various aspects like benefits, holidays, work patterns, and organizational changes.
  • Develop and Implement New Features: Create, test, and implement new screens, fields, and functionalities to accommodate new pay and benefits items such as Healthcare Plans and Sharesave Plans.
  • Generate HR Reports: Produce scheduled HR reports and fulfill requests for new report creations.
  • Provide User Support: Address HR system-related queries from employees, resolving issues ranging from login problems to specific inquiries about holiday calculations.
  • Manage Company Rules and Data Uploads: Maintain and update company rules within the system, including holiday entitlements and other variables. Conduct individual and bulk data uploads, utilizing Excel spreadsheets for importing and exporting data.
  • Utilize Document Templates for Communication: Employ document templates for mail merges using Cascade data, particularly for generating individual employee letters related to events like annual pay reviews and bonus plans.
  • Coordinate with Vendor Helpdesk: Serve as the primary contact for the vendor’s helpdesk, securing first-line support to address system issues and escalate unresolved matters when necessary.
  • Collaborate with Payroll Team: Work closely with the internal payroll team to ensure accurate data synchronization between HR and Payroll modules in Cascade on a monthly basis.
  • Manage User Profiles: Maintain, allocate, and safeguard user profiles, ensuring appropriate access levels are assigned to users.
