Our client is looking for a Service Assurance Engineer to join their IS Operations team. In this role, you'll support the Change & Transition Manager in ensuring new and updated IT services are effectively designed, transitioned, and meet business needs. You'll collaborate with various teams to coordinate service design and transition activities, ensuring a smooth and structured integration into operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing service impact assessments, transition plans, and operational readiness reports.
  • Ensure clear service processes, roles, and responsibilities are defined.
  • Maintain accurate service documentation, including Service Catalogues and Support Models.
  • Monitor service performance, ensuring compliance with ITIL frameworks.
  • Contribute to risk management and business continuity planning.

The Ideal Candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in Service Transition and IT Service Management (ITSM).
  • Strong understanding of Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Level Management.
  • Familiarity with Prince2, ITIL, and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.

The role is based in Central Manchester, ideally 1 day a week on site (flex if needed). The role is offering up to the £41,000 mark at the higher end (dependant on experience).
