What You’ll Be Doing
This is a varied position covering all areas of the finance function, requiring excellent accuracy, strong organisation, and the ability to manage your own workload. Your duties will include:
- Processing purchase and sales ledger entries
- Entering and reconciling bank transactions
- Reconciling payment gateways
- Preparing VAT returns
- Preparing final balances and processing refunds
- Managing credit control within the sales ledger
- Supporting the Finance Manager with ad hoc accounting duties
- Maintaining accurate customer financial records within a bespoke database
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a similar finance or accounts role
- Sound understanding of basic accounting principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude
- Competent in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
