We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with proven expertise in Alfa Financial System implementations. This is a remote contract position ideal for a strategic, results-driven professional who can manage the end-to-end delivery of a complex financial system transformation. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the project from initiation to completion, ensuring that objectives are met on time, within budget, and in accordance with the set requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Alfa Financial System implementation: Oversee all aspects of the project, from planning and scope definition to execution and delivery, ensuring the Alfa Financial System is successfully implemented across all relevant business functions.
- Change Management Expertise: Utilise a structured change management approach to ensure the smooth transition to the new system. Drive user adoption, prepare stakeholders for change, and minimise resistance. Develop and execute comprehensive change management strategies to support the organisational shift and ensure the system meets business goals.
- Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, functional leads, and technical teams. Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and issues. Ensure alignment between business objectives and the project outcomes.
- Project Planning & Execution: Create and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and timelines. Coordinate tasks and resources effectively to ensure the project progresses according to plan, addressing any deviations or challenges proactively.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle and implement effective mitigation strategies. Ensure risk management strategies are communicated and understood by all stakeholders.
- Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional project teams, ensuring roles, responsibilities, and expectations are clear. Provide coaching and guidance to team members to foster collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
- Budget and Resource Management: Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses and ensuring costs are within approved limits. Optimise resource allocation to ensure timely delivery without compromising quality.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain clear and accurate documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Regularly report on project status, including key milestones, deliverables, and risks, to senior management.
- Continuous Improvement: After project completion, conduct post-implementation reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for future improvement.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Must Have: Hands-on experience with Alfa Financial System implementation. You must have worked on at least one full implementation of Alfa Financial Systems, including the configuration, integration, testing, and deployment phases.
- Project Management Experience: Proven track record of successfully managing large, complex financial systems projects. Demonstrated ability to lead projects from initiation through to successful delivery.
- Change Management Expertise: Solid experience in applying structured change management processes, including stakeholder engagement, training, and communication. Strong understanding of how to manage organisational change and ensure successful system adoption.
- Financial Systems Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial systems, processes, and workflows, with experience in managing or implementing financial applications and tools. Knowledge of the financial industry’s regulatory and compliance requirements is a plus.
- Project Management Methodologies: Expertise in project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or a hybrid approach. PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification is preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership capabilities to motivate and guide cross-functional teams towards achieving project goals.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify potential issues and implement creative, strategic solutions in a timely manner.
- Remote Work: Comfortable with remote work environments, utilising collaboration tools, and managing projects virtually.
