We are working with a global leader in the Life Sciences space with offices across multiple jurisdictions. They are a truly global organisation committed to ensuring the development of medical technology to the highest possible standard.
Our client is searching for a junior Data Protection Officer who will report to the Group GC. This excellent role has seen a significant increase in workload during recent times. Based in London, the role will involve working closely with the General Counsel and other members of the C-suite team.
Responsibilities
- Working as a paralegal or NQ Lawyer across various transactional and regulatory matters.
- Handling cross-border transactions and regulatory proceedings.
- Addressing privacy and cybersecurity issues.
- Creating relevant privacy operational assets, including DPIAs.
- Advising employees on compliance obligations under UK GDPR.
- Managing cybersecurity compliance and incident response.
Qualifications
Applicants should have experience in the aforementioned areas, with a strong understanding of data privacy.
