We are a platform to bring a new generation of food producers and their customers together. We allow burgeoning independent food makers to build their businesses and instantly reach a nationwide community of customers looking for new, more exciting, and tastier food options.

We have recently started experimenting with having some of our inventory in-house, removing a big part of the hassle for our makers when it comes to shipping their delicious food and drink creations. For that, we are looking for someone who can help us with all things operations related.

Requirements
  • Inventory Management: Manage and oversee the daily stock flow in and out of the warehouse. Ensure accurate receipt and documentation of goods-in and goods-out. Conduct regular stock counts and checks to maintain accuracy. Monitor stock levels and initiate re-orders as needed to maintain appropriate inventory levels. Ensure proper labelling and organisation of stock for efficient picking and packing.
  • Systems and Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve the stock management processes. Identify and implement stock control systems to streamline inventory tracking. Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to enhance system efficiency and automation.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the buying team to understand stock requirements and upcoming deliveries. Communicate with the warehouse team to ensure timely processing of stock. Coordinate with suppliers on stock deliveries and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare accurate inventory reports for management. Maintain proper records for all stock-related activities, including goods receipt, invoicing, and supplier documentation. Identify trends in stock issues and proactively suggest solutions.
  • Warehouse Growth and Scaling: Support the ongoing expansion of the warehouse and stock operations as the company grows. Ensure the warehouse is ready for future growth, planning for scalability in systems, space, and processes.
Experience
  • 2-4 years of experience in a stock control, inventory management, or warehouse operations role, ideally in an e-commerce or FMCG environment.
  • Strong understanding of stock management processes, systems, and best practices.
  • Experience with inventory management software or warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Good knowledge of invoicing, receipting, and supplier management.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of stock control.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, able to handle multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
