Position Overview
As the Senior Analyst, Compensation you will play a critical role in supporting Vantage’s comprehensive compensation strategy across the EMEA region. Reporting to the Senior Director, Global Compensation, you will be responsible for supporting business objectives including attracting, retaining, and motivating a diverse workforce through compensation strategy and practices.
Essential Job Functions
- Market Analysis & Benchmarking: Submit salary survey data and conduct regular market analysis and benchmarking to ensure our compensation practices remain competitive and aligned with industry trends across EMEA. Seek out and evaluate external compensation data providers with an emphasis on robust data available in our EMEA markets.
- Compensation Strategy & Program Management: Research compensation structures, pay ranges, and incentive programs to ensure Vantage’s compensation strategy drives performance, recognizes top talent, and promotes equity. Partner with People & Culture leaders and HRIS teams to support the annual compensation review cycle in Workday (annual merit and bonus awards).
- Offer Support & Data Analysis: Working with the Talent Acquisition team, use benchmarking tools and internal parity data to propose and evaluate job offers for candidates.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compensation programs comply with all regional regulations, labor laws, and internal policies across multiple jurisdictions. Lead the UK Gender Pay Gap reporting process, and support other compliance-related efforts. Assist in the preparation of executive-level reporting of key compensation metrics and trends.
- Training & Communication: Provide materials to support employee and manager training on compensation philosophy and practices, fostering the pay-for-performance culture at Vantage.
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Experience: Preferably 5+ years of experience in compensation, human resources, finance, or data analytics. Experience supporting UK Gender Pay Gap reporting and strong knowledge of EU regulations and compliance requirements. Experience with Workday HCM. Experience with the Advanced Compensation module preferred. Data center experience is preferred, but not required. Experience supporting a global organization is preferred, but not required.
- Skills: Strong organizational and project management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. English language proficiency is required. Additional language proficiency is preferred (German, French), but not required. Proficient with Microsoft Office suite including above-average Excel skills (PivotTables, lookup functions, financial modeling, scenario analysis, etc.) Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement. Alignment with Vantage’s Core Values: Trust, Accountability, Respect, and Agility. Travel required is expected to be 10% or less.
