Job Summary
This role is offered as a 12-month secondment to a Place systems change team delivering the Neighbourhoods Programme. The Project Manager will work with a range of system partners including the Primary Care Networks, London Borough of Hackney, Homerton Health Community based services, The Community and Voluntary Sector, and North East London Integrated Care System to drive forward key projects within the Neighbourhoods Programme.

The role will work on a range of Neighbourhoods Programme events, projects, and evaluation work. Key tasks will be to deliver the communication function of the programme strategically and operationally, lead on developing plans for the assessment of the estates and ICT infrastructure to support the development of Integrated Neighbourhood Teams, and other research, engagement, and tasks that will take forward the establishment of our INTs and deepen our progress in integrated working in the 8 Neighbourhoods.

The post holder will work in the Neighbourhoods Programme Team and be supported by colleagues working on related projects.

Main duties of the job

  1. Support the City and Hackney Place Based Partnership by developing a realistic plan to ensure there is appropriate infrastructure to drive forward Neighbourhoods multi-agency working. This will prioritise Estates and ICT.
  2. Work closely with the Neighbourhood Leadership Groups to ensure the needs of each Neighbourhood are taken into consideration.
  3. Develop and maintain a strong understanding of local and national imperatives for Neighbourhoods and person-centred multi-agency working.
  4. Lead on the day-to-day delivery of all communications that relate to the Neighbourhoods Programme, spanning internal and external communications (including the Neighbourhood website, newsletters, and Quarterly Summits).
  5. Work closely with Neighbourhood colleagues to deliver related organisational development activities and engagement.
  6. Present developing plans at system Boards and forums.
  7. Research best practice in the design of Neighbourhood hubs and spaces for colocation and non-medical integrated spaces for delivering health, care, and social connection activities within Neighbourhood settings.
  8. Work closely with system enablers to ensure the expertise around Estates and ICT informs the development of the plan.
  9. Support pilots and collate learning.
  10. This work will involve cross-sector collaboration that must be in alignment with other policies and developing services.

Person Specification

Qualifications
Essential:

  • Evidence of continuing learning/development appropriate post graduate qualification
  • Educated to Masters level or able to demonstrate at this level through further training or experience
  • Experience in project managing in a complex cross-organizational space
  • Able to design, deliver and evaluate a range of projects
  • Demonstrates high level of effective communication and presentation skills with all internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrate team leadership skills, able to lead, manage and motivate staff.
  • High level of problem solving, planning and time management skills.
  • Able to manage competing demands and to prioritise under pressure for self and team
  • Experience of working autonomously within community settings
  • Ability to work with workforce planning tools and financial projections
  • Experience of working with people from a variety of cultural backgrounds
  • Experience of change management and Project management
  • Experience of innovation in Health/ care
  • Knowledge of locality of City & Hackney and the Place Based Partnership or a similar locality
  • Knowledge of relevant National Policies and Procedures
  • Good project management skills
  • Good communication skills, able to explain issues clearly and facilitate discussion
  • Evidence of very strong negotiation and influencing skills and evidence of the ability to manage multiple stakeholders across functions
  • Demonstrated an understanding of the Trust Values

Desirable:

  • Experience of Estates, ICT and collocation of multidisciplinary teams.
  • Qualification in project management or equivalent experience.
  • A clinical or strong health or social care transformation/ track record
  • An understanding of good practice in co-production
  • Good knowledge and understanding of strengths-based approaches and community assets.
  • Knowledge of socio-technical approaches to change or similar (Culture/dynamics of change and cross-organizational working)
