TL;DR We’re looking for a Senior Content Designer to refine the words that guide millions of users. As our first dedicated expert, you’ll focus on mobile UX writing, microcopy, and marketing content —crafting clear, compelling language for in-app experiences, feature naming, and upsells. You’ll also bring cohesion drafting our UX content strategy and guide our brand through its next stage of growth.
€85k—€95k + Stock-Options/BSPCE Full remote from anywhere in Europe with monthly visits to our Paris office (fully expensed). If needed, substantial support for relocation (up to 10k€). Visa sponsoring available for individuals relocating to France or already based here. Socials - Biannual company retreats and monthly gatherings. Photoroom is an international team and we work in English.
About the role
- Write and refine UX copy for Photoroom’s mobile app, improving clarity, engagement, and usability.
- You’ll work across product and marketing content, clarifying value and enhancing quality, but also developing in-app purchases, upselling, and promotional touch points.
- Name new features with an international audience in mind, ensuring clarity and consistency, but also ease of translation for our key markets.
- Make data-driven decisions. Use internal insights and A/B testing to shape localization, terminology, and branded language strategies.
- Leverage AI for efficiency. Build AI-friendly guidelines to streamline content creation, so you can focus on refining the final touch rather than writing from scratch.
- Drive high-impact execution. Support web, design, and marketing teams on key content decisions (e.g., SEO, branding) and contribute to strategic projects company-wide.
About you
- You have strong UX writing experience for mobile products.
- You can craft microcopy that improves usability and engagement, as well as marketing-driven content like in-app purchases and upsells.
- You understand how to ensure a consistent brand voice and tone across various touch-points (e.g., apps, website, social content).
- You understand localization and internationalization, and keep it in mind when crafting your copy or choosing your naming, ensuring copy is easily clear and effective across languages.
- You advocate for best practices and develop clear, effective guidelines for internal teams.
- You work closely with designers, product managers, and developers to create user-friendly experiences.
- You have a strong understanding of UX principles, accessibility, writing for a global audience, and data-driven optimization (A/B testing, user insights).
- You are hands-on, and ready to own product copy from strategy to execution.
- You know how to leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to streamline content creation.
- You have experience with AI-generated content and can create a unique, authentic voice that builds trust in the product.
- You are a native English speaker.
If you think you have what it takes but don't meet every single point above, please still apply. We’d love to chat and see if you could be a great fit.
