Job Title: 1st/2nd Line Support Engineer

Salary: £25,000-27,500+Shift Allowance

Location: Harrogate (Hybrid)

A leading service provider with a growing team in Harrogate are looking for a motivated individual with technical experience to join a 2nd Line Support team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for learning and advancing their career in tech.

The role will involve…

  • Providing 1st / 2nd line technical support, managing customer queries and technical issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve faults across various technologies including broadband, networking, firewalls, SD-WAN, VoIP, and more.
  • Monitor, manage, and resolve incidents in a 24/7 shift environment.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, keeping them updated on progress and ensuring satisfaction.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Experience with networking (LAN, WAN, VPN, etc.) and troubleshooting across various platforms.
  • Familiarity with Cisco, Meraki, Fortinet, Huawei, and other network technologies.
  • ITIL Foundation awareness and relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA, SIP School SSCA) are a plus.
  • Experience working in a managed service provider
