London College of Communication are advertising for an associate lecturer to teach on their BA Journalism.

The role

Your main responsibility will be preparation, teaching, administration and assessment of a unit or part of a unit. You will make a significant contribution to the quality of learning and support our students receive in order to enable them to complete their studies successfully.

You will work closely with other academic staff, including the Programme Director and Course Leader.

Your profile

We are expanding our teaching team and wish to hear from experienced tutors who can deliver high-quality sessions in a number of areas. We are particularly keen to hear from those who can offer an up-to-date and engaging approach to the teaching of contextual and theoretical studies. Experience of teaching at higher education is a must.

We are particularly keen to hear from those who have experience teaching and assessing in the following areas:

  1. Social Media and Data Journalism for a theoretical perspective
  2. Journalism contextual studies/ media or cultural theory
