Audience Engagement Officer – British Sign Language Broadcasting Trust

  • London-office based (Will consider a home-based person who can occasionally travel to our office, if beyond reasonable commuter distance)

British Sign Language Broadcasting Trust is a young, successful charity with an ambitious agenda. Funded by commercial broadcasters, we commission television programmes made in British Sign Language and we support the companies and Deaf programme-makers who produce them.

The postholder of this role reports to the Audience Engagement Manager, working in a small but busy team to build the audience for BSL Zone programmes. This is a varied role for a creative person; it includes working on our social media, website and promotional plans (both online and in person), as laid out in our Strategic Communications Plan 2022-2024 and a new one to be planned for 2024 onwards.
