What you’ll do:
- Work closely with the wider Compliance team and the business to help build a best-in-class compliance program.
- Provide compliance oversight of investing products and processes through monitoring and periodic reviews to ensure they deliver good customer outcomes.
- Provide compliance advice on current and future products and services across the business, as well as overarching compliance requirements.
- Participate in compliance projects within cross-functional teams to deliver change and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Review or advise on higher risk or complex financial promotions to ensure fair outcomes.
- Prepare and maintain compliance policies and procedures, ensuring they are up-to-date and effectively implemented.
- Contribute to broader team efforts to continually enhance controls.
- Stay updated with regulatory developments and initiatives impacting retail investment firms.
What you need to have:
- Proven experience in compliance, preferably within the financial services or investment industry.
- Detailed knowledge in UK regulatory requirements and best practices in compliance.
- Educated to degree level in Law, Finance, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and be adaptable.
