General Manager - Marina & Waterside - London Canary Wharf - £40,000 + 30% bonus potential + excellent benefits.
We are looking for a General Manager to manage two stunning marinas in London Canary Wharf and look after their mainly long-standing affluent residents living in the marinas. Our client is a diverse nationwide leisure operator growing fast through acquisitions and redevelopments, so it is an exciting time to be joining them.
Key elements of the role:
- Coach, support and inspire your operational team to be the best they can be every day.
- Strive to deliver a fantastic customer experience to both your leisure customers and residents, building meaningful relationships along the way.
- Ensure the facilities and amenities are always clean, safe and well maintained.
- Support the busy boat brokerage office based there.
- Typically working 9-5 Mon-Friday with the expectation of the occasional evening or weekend to meet the needs of the business and customers.
- Very sociable hours over a 37.5-hour week.
- 30% bonus potential (Quarterly and annual).

The person we are looking for:
- Genuine, warm personality with a flair for great customer service and hospitality.
- Ideally experience in servicing high net worth customers.
- Hands-on approach to leadership and ownership mentality.
- Strong operator with experience managing a multi-faceted leisure, serviced property or hospitality business.
- Team leadership experience possibly as a Centre Manager, General Manager, Club Manager, Community Manager, Facilities Manager, Estates Manager, Property Services Manager or even Operations Manager ready to step up.
- Business acumen: able to read and act on a P&L and manage budgets.
- Ideally have an interest in boats or the waterside.
- Living within an easy commute of London Canary Wharf.
