The Opportunity
We are on a noble mission: make the World cleaner and greener. We are developing a state-of-the-art cleantech suite of products by using the most powerful modern technologies available: We are an AWS-native technology-first innovative company that leads the Energy and Utilities into the cloud by deploying clean solutions to consumers and enterprises across the Globe. We are growing rapidly, and we are seeking top-notch Senior Full Stack Engineers with a product mindset to become instrumental in the development of our products suite.
The Specifics
As a Senior TypeScript Engineer, you will be expected to contribute to the development of Gentrack products by actively collaborating with team members and other developers across teams. Operating within best coding practice is essential to this role, as is a team mindset. Your success will be reflected by:
- Ability to take on tasks within the scrum team and to proactively acquire the product and technical knowledge necessary to deliver your contributions.
- Active participation in all aspects of Agile software development, including:
- Clear communication to your team about any obstacles or blockers.
- Regular input/contribution is provided at task planning sessions.
What we're looking for (you don't need to be a guru at all, we're looking forward to coaching and collaborating with you):
- Depth and breadth of development as a Full-Stack Software Engineer developing commercial software using TypeScript/Javascript
- Solid professional experience and deep expertise in React.js and Node.js
- Experience working in cloud environments, AWS is highly preferred
- Experience testing with Jest writing Unit Test; Also, experience with Cucumber is desirable
