As the Financial Controller, you will be at the heart of the financial strategy, ensuring the agency stays agile, profitable, and primed for growth. You will partner closely with stakeholders, bringing financial insight to creative decision-making while ensuring robust financial controls and reporting. This is a hands-on role and will suit a qualified accountant.
Responsibilities will include:
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including invoicing, payroll, tax returns, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Lead on planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Preparation and posting of accruals and prepayments.
- Preparation of management accounts with commentary.
- Presenting financial reports to stakeholders.
- Drive efficiencies through modern finance technology.
Your Profile:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA).
- Experience in the creative agency sector (Marketing, Advertising, PR, Digital, Communications).
- Strong interpersonal skills / ability to challenge and influence.
