As part of the Transport UK Group, West Midlands Trains delivers around 1,300 train journeys a day, for more than 60 million passengers a year, across our two brands - West Midlands Railway and London Northwestern Railway. As part of this investment, we are looking to recruit a Revenue Protection Support Analyst, on a full-time, permanent basis based at Milton Keynes. This role is hybrid with 2/3 days in the office. This is an excellent opportunity to join the team as they embark on a period of growth and development.

What does the job involve?

  • Process Improvement: Support the Head of Revenue Protection in refining processes and identifying trends to enhance efficiency, productivity, and performance.
  • Intelligence Analysis: Assist in reviewing and analysing intelligence to identify hot spots and optimize resource deployment.
  • Data Reporting: Analyse data and produce periodic reports with commentary.
  • Digital Fraud Support: Provide administrative support to the digital fraud team, including case organization and responding to intelligence reports.
  • Finance Management: Manage banking updates, liaise with finance, and report on earnings for the revenue protection team.
  • Meeting Support: Offer high-level administrative support at meetings, including document preparation, minute-taking, and action tracking.
  • Procurement & Logistics: Handle procurement orders, arrange accommodation and venues.
  • Diary Management: Support diary management for the Head of Revenue Protection and the wider team.
  • Attendance & Payroll: Manage attendance trackers and coordinate payroll status returns.
  • General Office Duties: Perform general office tasks such as filing, photocopying, message taking, record keeping, and car park ticket administration.

What skills and experience do I need to do the job?

  • Degree educated in business, finance or related field, with ability to research and interpret information from a range of sources.
  • Strong analytical and IT skills with demonstrable competency in Microsoft EXCEL, Word, Power BI.
  • Excellent problem-solving, presentation, and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to research data and interrogate reports.
  • Experience in an administrative role, with ability to undertake a variety of administration duties with accuracy and manage multiple activities.
  • Good organisational skills with attention to detail to be able to prioritise conflicting deadlines.
