The role
In your new role as a Recruitment Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Legal Recruitment team and the London-based attorneys. This position reports to the Director of Legal Recruitment based in the New York office and encompasses all facets of attorney recruiting.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing dedicated support to partners, facilitating the hiring process by offering timely insights, candidate profiles, and market trends.
- Recruiting lateral associates and counsel, assisting with the lateral partner recruiting process, including scheduling interviews and ensuring timely communication with candidates.
- Ensuring all attorney recruitment processes in London progress smoothly to completion.
- Maintaining the applicant tracking database and spreadsheets to ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Assisting the Director of Recruiting with budget submission for the London office.
- Maintaining and developing relationships with search firms.
What do you need?
In order to be successful in this role you will need:
- Previous experience in Legal Recruitment within a law firm or recruitment agency. Ideally, you will have experience working at a US law firm.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong proactiveness and an ability to work effectively independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. An ability to build rapport with stakeholders at all levels.
