The Communications and Media team is a leading practice across Europe, the Middle East and Africa and spans a range of sub-sectors including telecommunications, digital infrastructure (data centres, fibre, towers and satellite) and media (ranging from advertising and broadcasting to education, sports and gaming).
Job Description: Vice President is a senior, Officer-level position with responsibility for driving both deal execution and origination efforts across M&A and capital markets activities, including sell-side and buy-side M&A advisory, shareholder advisory, leveraged finance, equity capital markets transactions as well as other strategic situations.
Responsibilities:
- Assume a significant level of responsibility across the entire origination and deal execution lifecycle, as well as supporting new business development and overall growth of the firm and team.
- Work closely with clients on both advisory and capital raise transactions, guiding clients through the process, which includes leading client management and discussions, and overseeing key sector-focused work-streams on a project, such as drafting, modelling or due diligence sessions.
- Drive coordination between clients (including C-suite), senior-level team members and internal partners, working teams, and outside professional advisors including legal, accounting and commercial consultants.
- Responsible for driving the drafting of detailed analyses, pitch materials, information memoranda, investor / management / analyst presentations and oversee work being performed by analysts & associates assigned to projects.
Qualifications:
- Significant experience in Investment Banking.
- Experience in Comms and Media is preferred.
- Experience and comprehensive knowledge of the investment banking business and core focus areas such as M&A, and debt or equity capital markets transactions.
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
Education: Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
