ARM is working with a major rail client and we are currently recruiting for a pivotal role for a Senior Systems Integration Engineer within railway systems on a permanent basis in either Birmingham or London.

About You:

You will be a degree educated engineer with extensive experience within railway systems integration. You will ideally be chartered or working towards chartership or similar professional accreditation. You will have a good understanding of railways as a whole, rather than one area. Ideally, your experience will stem from client-side working or within a consultancy providing this service to them.

What you will be doing:

This is a key position within the organisation and has come about from lessons learned on other large scale railway projects and the need to ensure that the whole railway integrates with all elements. Your role will be to highlight concerns with contractors' own declared assurance and that expected. Understanding the whole picture and how this will then integrate with other railway systems or the impact a slight change may have on the end product. The role will own the Systems Requirements Specifications for the programme of works and ultimately set the scene for the end railway. This position can be based from either London or Birmingham (depending on your preferred home office) and will be working using the hybrid method with 2 days a week in the office and 3 working from home.

What you can expect in return:

The salary range for this position is dependent on location and experience. For Birmingham, the range is between £56,940 and £71,160 and for London, the range is between £64,620 and £80,760. The position comes with an excellent benefits package and the ability to buy extra holiday or health or other benefits. The company also offers a real chance of career progression and development, with many who work having progressed to high positions compared to their peers in other companies.

We can only consider applications from those eligible to work in the UK for this position on a permanent basis.
