Are you ready to dive into the exhilarating world of finance at a World Leading Automotive Brand – We are on the hunt for an enthusiastic and detail-obsessed individual to join our Client’s squad as a Trainee Accounts Assistant. This role is the perfect ENTRY-LEVEL Position to springboard you into the thrilling realm of finance and comes with full training in AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians). You will be working four days a week in the office and one day a week at college – on a Friday! or 5 days in the office and studying Weekends and Evenings if you want to earn more money. And as you grow in skill level your role will grow too – the perfect combo. Responsibilities Assisting with the nitty-gritty of accounting, like wrangling invoices and making it rain with payments Keeping the balance in bank statements and accounts like a superhero Backing up senior accountants in whipping up financial reports Tag-teaming with your colleagues to keep those financial records on point and on time Following the company’s financial policies and procedures with flair Qualifications Burning passion to pursue a career in accounting Good numerical and analytical skills Some proficiency in Microsoft Excel and optional accounting software Ability to conquer tasks solo or rock it out with the Accounting team Key Skills – desirable Confident with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and Word, Excellent attention to detail and accuracy skills Effective communicator both written and verbal Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills Polite telephone manner Work Schedule: 30 hours per week – Monday to Thursday, 08:30 to 17:00. Starting Salary: £22,308 per annum (based on full-time hours). The salary will increase as you progress through AAT.
