We are looking for a highly skilled software engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain high-performance software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior developers, and contribute to architectural decisions. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in software development and strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Implementing development processes and coding best-practice reviews in an Agile environment to ensure we deliver quality products and solutions.
  • Design, create and build scalable, sustainable, and architecturally sound solutions.
  • Collaborating with senior technical members and product owners to understand and finalize complex product requirements and translate them into robust software solutions.
  • Taking ownership of complex technical issues to ensure successful delivery.
  • Mentoring and guiding junior team members to develop their skills in software development and best practices.
  • Keeping up to date with new technology developments to identify cutting-edge innovations for potential future projects.
Requirements:
  • Expertise in development languages including but not limited to: Java/J2EE, Scala/Python, XML, JSON, SQL, Spring/Spring Boot.
  • Expertise with RESTful web services, Spark, Kafka etc.
  • Experience with relational SQL, NoSQL databases and cloud technologies such as AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Kubernetes, and Docker.
  • Extensive knowledge of object-oriented methodologies, design patterns, database application design, application development and maintenance.
  • Solid understanding of architectural principles.
  • Administer the delivery of successful projects and solve problems through innovation, prototyping, finding alternatives/solutions; and identifying risks/impacts and schedule adjustments to facilitate management decision-making.
  • Expertise in data modelling, design and manipulation, optimization, best practices, tuning, and leading industry trend knowledge.
  • Strong organization/project planning, time management, and change management skills across multiple functional groups and departments, and strong delegation skills involving prioritizing and reprioritizing projects and managing projects of various size and complexity.
