Software Engineer (Mid – Snr) – Drone Technology £40,000 – £70,000 London Hybrid Cubiq Recruitment is working in partnership with a young and exciting company in London who are looking for a Software Engineer to join their small and growing team. The company is pioneering the development of cutting-edge drones for various applications across industries and differing end clients. Having already developed two initial UAV models, they’re looking to expand their capability across engineering and are growing their R&D team accordingly. In your position as Software Engineer, you will be tasked with developing software solutions for flight control, integrating various sub-systems and sensors, and working closely with the hardware team. Responsibilities: Develop software solutions for flight control. Integrate various sub-systems and sensors. Collaborate closely with the hardware team. Minimum Requirements: A formal qualification in Computer Science, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a similar technical discipline. Experience with C/C++ programming. Knowledge of PID control loops. Prior experience working on autonomous and/or unmanned vehicles. A passion for working on drones, UAVs, and avionic systems. Knowledge of robotic controls.
