Lead the Change Toward a Greener Future A market-leading food manufacturer is seeking an experienced Environmental and Sustainability Manager to drive meaningful environmental improvements and lead sustainability initiatives at their site. This is a unique opportunity to influence the journey to Carbon Net Zero by 2040 , working within a highly adaptable and innovative environment. Your Key Responsibilities Develop and Implement Environmental Systems: Build and maintain ISO 14001-aligned environmental management systems to ensure legal compliance and operational excellence. Champion Sustainability Initiatives: Lead carbon footprint tracking (Scope 1, 2, and 3), align site goals with group-level sustainability objectives, and support decarbonisation efforts. Drive Energy Efficiency: Develop ISO 50001-aligned energy management systems, analyse energy use, and implement strategies to reduce consumption and emissions. Promote Environmental Best Practices: Implement pollution prevention controls, manage trade effluent compliance, and instil a culture of environmental awareness across the site. Collaborate and Inspire: Work cross-functionally to develop Environmental and Energy Champions, ensuring a collaborative approach to sustainability. About You Experience as a Site Environmental Manager or within a larger sustainability-focused team. Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 standards, with the ability to apply best practices.
