The predicted salary is between 48000 - 72000 ÂŁ per year.
Supervising and managing the operation of the installation’s marine systems and associated equipment in accordance with design, UKCS legislation, classification society rules and flag state legislation. Key Responsibilities Responsible for the safe and cost-effective operation and maintenance of the installation’s marine systems with minimal environmental impact. Ensure thorough knowledge of the operating safety case and performance standards ensuring that asset integrity is maintained. Act as the Responsible Person/Area Authority for all operations in the Marine Department requiring a work permit and ensure that all safety precautions are taken and the work is carried out safely. Ensure all risks in the marine system and associated operations are identified, and procedures are established and implemented. Ensure knowledge of safety requirements, including work permit systems, operational and emergency procedures, Company policies and instructions; and ensure that they are understood by all marine department personnel. Communicate closely with the HSE Advisor on HSEQ matters. Provide guidance to all staff in matters pertaining to safe working practices in compliance with the installation’s Safety Management Systems (SMS). Maintain accurate records and ensure that all manuals and drawings are kept current, ensuring that any updates are highlighted and sent to Document Control for processing. Review compliance with the Installation’s SMS in conjunction with the OIM and other departmental heads and update documentation as required. Ensure compliance against performance standard verification requirements. Operate the installation in accordance with the installation’s marine procedures. Liaise with the Production and Maintenance Supervisors to ensure safe operations and compliance with environmental legislation. Ensure the safe and efficient isolation, and de-isolation of all process plant, returning process equipment to service following maintenance, in strict compliance with the Company’s safe isolation and reinstatement of the plant (SIRP) manual. Provide guidance to all staff in matters pertaining to safe operations of the marine facility systems. Liaise with the Maintenance Supervisor, allocate planned maintenance tasks to Marine personnel as per weekly plans and report any non-compliances. Ensure the correct and accurate completion of Marine Department data and reports, including marine logs, vessel movements, weather reports and tank contents. Liaise with marine onshore logistics regarding supply vessel routing and requirements. Ensure effective communication with the Deck Foreman regarding supply vessel, helicopter and offtake tanker operations. Plan the loading of fuel in accordance with relevant procedures. Maintain installation’s tank inspection plan regarding cargo, ballast, fuel and void tanks in line with installation’s hull risk-based inspection (RBI) class and verification requirements. Ensure appropriate operation and maintenance of the mooring and offtake. Verify the Marine Control Room Operators’ load and offload plans are in accordance with the Intact and Damage Stability Manual. Supervise the activities of the Marine Control Room Operators and ensure marine systems are set and operated within their design parameters. Ensure crane and helicopter records (including refuelling) are maintained. Perform any other tasks as reasonably required.
