About The Role: A globally renowned design consultancy specialising in wayfinding and strategic planning is seeking a confident and proactive Technical Lead to join their team. Based out of their London office, this role offers remote working for candidates based in regional areas across the UK, with occasional travel to the office a few days per month, for which accommodation is provided. Reporting to the Digital Design Director, you will drive the development and implementation across our client’s innovative wayfinding platforms, guiding technical strategy and lead the creation and enhancement of products across web, iOS, and Android, ensuring seamless integration and outstanding performance. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the technical direction and innovation of both digital and physical wayfinding projects Align solutions with client systems and databases Manage development projects, ensuring quality and strategic goals Collaborate with clients, project teams, and technical partners Define product specifications and oversee architecture, development, and maintenance Present updates and mitigate project risks effectively Drive R&D, process automation, and asset management solutions Ensure solutions meet WCAG 2.2, security, and accessibility standards Maintain and update our client’s website Key Skills/Requirements: Proven project leadership experience, ideally in technology or wayfinding industries Expertise in human-centred design and intuitive user experiences Advanced technical project management and development skills (front-end, back-end, iOS, Android, web) Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities Knowledge of GIS/mapping technologies is preferred Willingness to travel internationally when required To apply for this position please click on the apply button to attach your CV (and portfolio for design positions).
