About the role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a vital role in fostering the developmental progress of children in one of two age ranges. You will create stimulating and engaging learning environments, both inside and outside, to support the children's growth. Your responsibilities will include planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality lessons and activities, tailored to meet each child's needs. You will assess key children, setting realistic and challenging next steps and working closely with parents to track progress. You will uphold high standards of behaviour, providing a safe and positive environment for learning. Additionally, you will contribute to the wider school community by attending events and maintaining professional standards in communication with parents. Safeguarding and wellbeing will be central to your role as you engage in ongoing training and development to ensure the highest standards of care. This is a zero-hour contract role needed during term-time.

Who we are looking for:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Early Years Practitioner with a solid understanding of the EYFS framework. You should have a NVQ level Two or above. You should be able to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment that helps children flourish. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential, as well as the ability to assess children's progress and set achievable learning goals. A passion for supporting young learners and a commitment to safeguarding are key. You should be a proactive team player, able to work collaboratively while maintaining high professional standards.
