Teaching Personnel is proud to be working with a specialist SEMH & Behavioural school in Bolton that provides tailored support to students who require an alternative approach to education. We are currently seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join the team and play a key role in helping students overcome barriers and thrive in school. Role Overview: – Supporting students on a 1:1 and small group basis – Assisting with behavioural management and emotional regulation – Help create a safe and supportive learning environment – Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to meet individual needs Ideal Candidate: – Experience working with children / young people with SEMH or behavioural needs (PRU, alternative provision, youth work, care or similar) – Strong interpersonal skills and emotional resilience – Has a calm and adaptable approach to support – DBS on the update service (or willing to apply for one through Teaching Personnel) Successful applicants will be subject to standard vetting checks, including two school / education-based references & a DBS. Applicants must be able to provide an Overseas Police Check if applicant has been outside the UK for more than 6 months in the past 5 years.
