The Prax Group is an international conglomerate in the upstream, midstream and downstream energy sector headquartered in Central London. Prax is an exciting and dynamic company with a fast growth trajectory both organically and externally. With activities across commodities trading, exploration & production, oil refining, storage, wholesale distribution, aviation, marine and retail, the financing structure of Prax is very diverse. The finance team brings together all aspects of funding, from raising capital, optimizing available cash, managing risks and searching for growth opportunities through capital expenditures and acquisitions. The Prax Group’s Corporate Finance Graduate Scheme is a comprehensive 3-year training programme for graduates interested in pursuing a career in corporate finance. This programme will provide graduates with the opportunity to rotate through Structured & Trade Finance, Treasury, Risk Management and Mergers & Acquisitions, and ensure participants will gain a solid understanding of how an international conglomerate funds its operations and growth. To be successful you will: Be on track or have achieved a 2:1 degree (or higher) in a related discipline. Possess good problem-solving skills and thrive under challenges. Have an inquisitive and forward-thinking mindset, always looking to learn and develop. Be numerate and analytical, yet pragmatic. Possess the ability to communicate confidently and effectively across all levels. Must be working towards or have completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree, graduating in 2025 or the previous 2 years. Recruitment Process The closing date for all Prax Graduate Scheme applications is 31st December 2024. After applications are closed, successful applicants will proceed to the next stage in the recruitment process, which will be a pre-recorded video interview. The third, and final stage of the recruitment process will be an in-person interview at one of our offices.
