A fantastic opportunity for a commercially aware and strategically minded EA to support the CEO of an established SME company based in Central London. You will have high integrity and confidentiality, with the ability to think “two steps ahead” and support the CEO as a true business assistant. You will have a presence within the London office and be the go-to for all senior stakeholders in the absence/on behalf of the CEO.
The Role:
- Manage all activity in direct support of the CEO to provide a comprehensive high-level range of administrative, commercial, research, secretarial and support services and ensure the smooth running of the CEO’s Office.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to maximise the profile and impact of the CEO Office.
- Extensive, ever-changing diary management to maximise CEO’s time.
- Attend Board, Director, and SLT meetings, including preparing agendas, papers and taking minutes.
- Draft agendas and prepare briefs ahead of meetings for the CEO, looking at past agendas and previous topics that are relevant.
- Attend conferences and events on behalf of the CEO and report back.
- Process all expenses for the CEO.
- Work in collaboration with the Company Secretary regarding governance issues.
- Draft tailored and specific business presentations.
- Identify key external contacts within the media and government to arrange meetings.
Essential requirements:
- Recent experience in a 1:1/1:2 support role at C-Suite level.
- Minimum of 3-4 years’ experience supporting at C-Suite level.
- High integrity.
- Diplomatic, discreet and confidential.
- Proactive and solution-focused.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work on own initiative.
- Commercial awareness of how a medium sized business works.
