Clarence George is working on a rare opportunity with a newly created hedge fund-backed start-up Reinsurer who is looking to hire a qualified Life Actuary focused on Pricing and Valuation. This role requires a qualified Actuary with 5-10 years post-qualified experience, prior US liabilities experience, and knowledge of Fixed Index Annuities (FIA) and Multi-Year Guaranteed Annuities (MYGA) products.

This role will be operating in a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment, with this individual having a high level of proficiency in actuarial modelling software such as GGY Axis, MG-ALFA, and Prophet. The selected individual will have the opportunity to build out a team as the business grows and gain exposure to an industry-recognized senior leadership team.

The ability to manage multiple workloads and perform effectively under pressure is a priority. Given the entrepreneurial nature of this role, there is industry-leading earning potential and accelerated career progression, as well as the prospect of future equity in the company.

Location for this role is flexible, with Cayman Islands, US, Canada, London, Bermuda, or remote options available.
