Position Title: Dispensary Manager
Reports To: Operations Manager or Owner

Job Overview:
The Dispensary Manager oversees all daily operations within the dispensary, ensuring compliance with local and state laws, managing inventory, supervising staff, and providing exceptional customer service. The Dispensary Manager ensures a smooth and effective working environment while maintaining a safe, welcoming atmosphere for customers and employees.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Management:
   Oversee and ensure efficient daily operations of the dispensary.
2. Monitor inventory levels, reorder products as needed, and ensure all stock is properly stored and organized.
3. Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding the sale of cannabis products.
4. Supervise daily opening and closing procedures for the dispensary, ensuring security protocols are followed.
5. Staff Supervision and Training:
   Hire, train, and manage dispensary staff, ensuring proper knowledge of products, regulations, and customer service skills.
6. Schedule staff shifts and ensure adequate coverage to meet customer demand.
7. Provide continuous training and professional development opportunities for team members.
8. Compliance and Reporting:
   Ensure all dispensary activities comply with state and local cannabis laws and industry regulations.
9. Maintain accurate records for inventory, sales, and customer interactions, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and compliant.
10. Work closely with regulators, auditors, and law enforcement when required to ensure compliance and uphold the reputation of the dispensary.
11. Security and Safety:
    Ensure that all security protocols are followed to protect the dispensary, staff, and customers.
12. Oversee surveillance systems, ensuring proper use and data retention in line with legal requirements.
13. Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment within the dispensary.
14. Experience:
    Previous experience in retail management or a similar supervisory role, preferably in the cannabis industry.
15. Knowledge of cannabis products, industry trends, and legal regulations is highly preferred.
16. Skills:
    Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
17. Ability to multitask and manage various responsibilities effectively.
18. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and dispensary management software.
19. Certifications:
    Valid state-issued cannabis dispensary manager certification (if required by local regulations).
