Japanese Speaking Senior Architect Role for International London-based Architecture Practice A UK top 40 architecture practice are expanding their team, searching for a Senior Architect with experience working in Japan. The London office is set near Aldgate, housing around 150 employees. The practice has over 650 projects in their portfolio that spans across more than 35 countries, with industry-leading and notable projects amongst them. The ideal candidate will have more than 6 years’ experience working on large-scale masterplan, office and residential projects in Japan. There are several projects in Japan that require a Senior Architect who can communicate clearly both in English and Japanese, written and verbal. Good technical knowledge, as well as design experience is favoured for this role and the capability to manage a project is paramount. Ideally, you will have the following: Strong 2D and 3D design and modelling skills using Revit and Rhino Design communication skills using software such as Illustrator or InDesign Ability to work independently, whilst also maintaining relationships within a team Fluent in Japanese, with written and verbal communication capability 10+ years of industry experience This position will require the successful candidate to be in the office 5 days a week.
