Experience in Automotive Interior Systems, like Cockpit, Console, Cabin Trims, Seating in OEM or component supplier is preferred.
Responsible for Design and Data releases and technical issue closures for Interiors Systems.
Managing the Vehicle BOMs and Engineering Changes.
Strong Project management skills through Project documentation, trackers and escalations.
Ownership for product development, change management, supplier coordination and issue resolutions.
Coordination with various functional departments.
Creating and managing engineering databases with vehicle categorization and providing the vehicle specs and drawings for homologation certifications.
Tracking of product testing and validation and issue resolutions.
Ownership of Gateway Deliverables.
Managing Sample trials and Gateway Vehicle Builds.
Timely addressing of customer complaints and field issues and providing resolutions.
Creation and improvement of Engineering processes for quality improvement.
Executing the VA/VE projects to reduce the BOM cost by standardization, commonization and optimization of parts.
Knowledge on APQP, Quality systems, DFMEA, DVP, etc.
Excellent problem-solving techniques and experience performing engineering calculations.
