A leading provider in the UK property sector is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the remediation of buildings with safety defects. The role is flexible, remote and based from Home. This role involves leading a multi-disciplinary team, providing high-level operational and strategic direction, and ensuring compliance with building safety legislation. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage building safety remediation projects, ensuring they meet strategic objectives and SLAs. Deliver robust project management plans, defining milestones and communicating progress to stakeholders. Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to the team, fostering a high-performance culture. Engage with developers, clients, insurers, and other stakeholders to resolve escalated issues. Ensure the timely and accurate payment of consultant invoices, and manage project budgets. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project delivery and efficiency. Create financial reports and fee structures for services provided. Contribute to thought leadership and industry engagement. Requirements: Strong knowledge of building safety legislation and related requirements. Proven leadership experience, preferably with 10+ years in property, construction, or FM sectors. Degree-level education or equivalent qualifications (RICS, MIRPM desirable). Experience in project management and contractor management. Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver under tight deadlines. Strong problem-solving skills and experience in major project delivery.
