This is a rare opportunity to take full ownership of L&D strategy in a complex, multi-site business. With a workforce of around 2,000 and an evolving approach to people development, this role is about building something from the ground up—implementing structure, identifying skill gaps, and embedding a culture of learning.

Why this role?

  • Define and deliver the L&D strategy, shaping how learning is embedded across the organisation.
  • Take a consultative approach, working with senior stakeholders to assess capability gaps and drive impactful development initiatives.
  • Lead and grow a small team, ensuring L&D delivers measurable business outcomes.
  • Work with a business that is still maturing in its people development approach, giving you the scope to make a real difference.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience in a senior L&D role, leading strategy in a complex, multi-site business.
  • Confidence in engaging and influencing senior stakeholders, with the credibility to embed learning into wider business priorities.
  • A proactive, consultative mindset, able to assess capability gaps and design tailored solutions.
  • The ability to build and scale an L&D function, aligning it with business growth and transformation.
  • Willingness to travel regularly, engaging teams across different locations.

This is an opportunity for a highly capable L&D leader to take full ownership of a function and create a lasting impact. If you’re ready to define and drive the learning agenda in a dynamic organisation, we’d love to hear from you.
